Considering Modeling?
The gallery helps connect local models and artists; whether you're experienced or just interested, we invite you to sign up and see where it takes you. There are a few things you should know first:
About the registry:
- The registry is free and purely voluntary; there is no charge for models or artists
- A real phone number, email, and photo are required...entire classes rely on models to be on time; actual contact info is essential
- Our registry is for male models; other registries can easily be found in DC for female models
- Models should expect to work nude; that may not always be the case, but it is the norm
- Models should expect an exclusively or predominately male audience
- There are lots of models on the list and it is entirely up to the artists to set criteria and select models
- Demand for models related to gallery classes and projects is generally 1 - 2 per week; sometimes more, sometimes less
- If you are not contacted for a long period of time, please be patient...you should only resubmit your registry if something changes or you want to update a photo
- Models who submit poor quality photos are rarely called...we don't reject bad photos, but anyone serious about modeling should submit the best images possible and/or send updates when available
